Option 1: Delete Directly in the Mobile App (Instant)
You can instantly delete your account without waiting for manual processing:
- Open the SGSS Members app on your Android or iOS device.
- Tap on your Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the prompt. Your account will be deleted immediately.
Option 2: Submit a Web Deletion Request via Email
If you no longer have access to the mobile application, you can submit a deletion request by sending an email from your registered email address:
- Recipient: info@gurudasikh.com
- Subject: Account Deletion Request - SGSS Members
- Body: Please state your registered full name and email address.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account:
- Personal Profile: Your name, email, phone number, bio, avatar, and authentication credentials will be permanently erased.
- Business & Product Listings: Any businesses or products listed under your account will be removed from the community directory.
- Device Tokens & Sessions: All push notification tokens and active login sessions will be immediately terminated.
- Timeline: In-app deletion is instant; email requests are processed within 7 business days.
